ABOUT Instant Rabri Ki Jalebi RECIPE

Jalebi is a very famous North Indian sweet. I made this jalebi within 30 minutes with instant mawa Rabri. It tastes Heavenly with Rabri.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 packet or 5 gm eno fruit salt
  3. 2 tbsp Besan
  4. 1/4 cup Curd
  5. Water as needed to make batter
  6. Ghee or oil for frying
  7. For sugar syrup -
  8. 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
  9. 3/4 cup water
  10. 12-15 strands kesar
  11. 1 pinch orange food color(optional)
  12. For Garnishing -
  13. 1 tbsp Pistachios sliced
  14. 1 tbsp Almonds sliced
  15. Silver vark
  16. 1/4 cup homemade Rabri
  17. For Rabri-
  18. 250 ml milk
  19. 4 tbsp mawa
  20. 1/4 cup Sugar
  21. 1 tbsp sliced almonds
  22. 1 tbsp sliced pistachios
  23. 1 tbsp sliced cashewnuts
  24. 1 tsp rose essence
  25. 1 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. First make sugar syrup
  2. Heat a pan add sugar and water
  3. Add rose essence kesar strands and orange food colour
  4. Let it boil till all sugar dissolves and the syrup reaches one string consistency
  5. Switch off the flame and cover it. We want hot sugar syrup
  6. Now in a big bowl add all purpose flour, Besan, curd and water mix well.There should be no lumps
  7. Now add eno fruit salt and mix it well and make of pouring consistency batter. Now pour this batter into jalebi maker..
  8. Heat Ghee/oil in a pan. When oil is hot enough pour jalebi batter from inside to outside to make perfect Jalebi
  9. Fry it till golden brown in color from both sides
  10. Now remove jalebi on a paper towel and dip it in sugar syrup for 30 seconds till jalebi nicely absorbs sweetness of syrup.
  11. For rabri -
  12. Heat milk in a pan add fresh Mawa sugar and all sliced pistachios almonds and cashewnuts and let it boil till it becomes 1/4 in quantity or grainy texture . Cool and chill in fridge
  13. Now keep jalebies on a plate and garnish it with Silver vark
  14. Pour chilled Rabri over jalopies. Garnish it with sliced pistachios and almonds. Serve
