ABOUT Club sandwich RECIPE

It's perfect for kids as this sandwich includes all veggies which is very good for kids

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup - Chana aatta batter (with water)
  2. Bread as required
  3. 3 tbsp - chopped onions
  4. 1/4 cup - chopped tomatoes
  5. 2 tbsp - chopped coriander
  6. Butter - 1 tbsp
  7. 2 - lettuce leaves
  8. 8 slices - cucumber
  9. 8 slices - tomatoes
  10. Green Chutney as per taste
  11. Ketchup as per taste

Instructions

  1. For the Green chutney : Put Coriander, pudina, green chilies, peanuts, lemon, salt and garlic cloves in a mixier grinder and pulse to get a paste.
  2. For the Chilas: Make the batter with chana atta batter and water. Add in some salt and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil on a pan and add the chopped veggies in the batter and make nice brown pancakes. Make 2 only.
  4. Cut the breads in a round shape and toast after the pancakes by adding some more oil if required.
  5. Place the toasted bread slice, put one chila on it. Cover with another toasted bread slice with the chutney side facing up.
  6. Place a lettuce leaf, cucumber and tomatoes on it and cover with the third toasted bread slice.
