Kids love Nuggets. So here i have made it with Soya by using Rice flour. Soya is a very good source of Proteins, B Vitamins and Minerals. So I have replaced CHICKEN with SOYA for Vegetarians.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Soya soaked overnight 1/2 cup
  2. Rice washed , dried and dry ground in mixture. 1 1/2 cup.
  3. Gram flour 1/2 cup
  4. Garlic crushed 1 tsp
  5. Ginger grated 1 tsp
  6. Ajwain 1 tsp
  7. chilli powder 1 tsp
  8. Dhania powder 1tsp
  9. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  10. Oil 2 tsp
  11. Egg 1
  12. Bread crumbs / wheat flakes coarsely ground for coating.
  13. Oil for deep frying.

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook Soya, Cool and Dry grind coarse.
  2. Add Rice flour, Gram flour and all masala.
  3. Add oil and water and make dough. It should be tight than roti.
  4. Make Cylindrical shaped rolls and steam them in steamer for 15 minutes.
  5. Let them Cool. Till that beat an egg by adding a tsp of Water.
  6. Add salt and pepper to it. Keep bread crumbs ( i used ground Wheat Flakes) ready
  7. Cut the steamed Cylindrical rolls in nuggets shape.
  8. Dip in egg mixture and roll in crumbs.
  9. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry nuggets.
  10. Transfer on the absorbent paper and enjoy with your kids favourite spread or Ketchup.
