ABOUT Aloe-Vera whole wheat kasaar RECIPE

Aloe helps clear the toxins out of the digestive system, facilitates digestion and improves the functioning of the kidneys, liver and gall bladder. The anti-inflammatory fatty acids in aloe alkalize the digestive juices and prevent acidity a common cause of indigestion.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Aloe vera leaves 7-8
  2. Molasses 1 1/ 2cups
  3. Wheat flour 2cups
  4. Desi ghee 1cup
  5. almonds chopped 1cup
  6. dates chopped 1/2cup
  7. cashews chopped 1/2cup

Instructions

  1. First of all wash aloe Vera leaves properly and wipe them with clean kitchen towel.
  2. Next step is to be taken cautiously as it contains peeling off the skin of aloe Vera leaves. Peel off a thin layer with a sharp knife like the pic.
  3. Now scoop off the gel from inner part of the leaves.
  4. Heat up the ghee in a deep pan and add gel into it .
  5. Cook till the gel turns dark brown then strain the gel flakes from ghee.
  6. Roast nuts in this ghee and keep aside.
  7. Add wheat flour to this ghee to roast till pinkish in colour and leaving a delicious aroma .
  8. Finally add molasses and nuts to it . Kasaar is ready to be stored n served .

Can only imagine how it would taste! But this is such a unique dish...so nutritious...
