This spinach apple smoothie is a very simple one. If you have palak leaves and apples handy, you could make this smoothie easily. Regarding health benefits, you will get required fibers, iron and other minerals too. The flavor is really good. Another thing which is so nice about the smoothie is, it doesn't need milk. Some apples have more sweetness and it doesn't need sugar at all. So check the sweetness of apple and add sugar.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Apple - 1 medium sized, chopped
  2. Spinach - 10 to 15 leaves, washed and cleaned
  3. Lemon - 1/2, remove the seeds and extract juice
  4. Sugar - 1 teaspoon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take chopped apples and spinach in a blender. Add lemon juice to it.
  2. You can add sugar, if you wish. It is completely optional. Grind it smoothly to a fine paste.
  3. Add a cup of water. Grind it once again and transfer it to a glass. Serve it chill.
