Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the baby corns into 2 pieces. (You will get around 10 pieces). Then marinate and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Take oil in a frying pan, deep fry the baby corns till they turn medium golden but are crisp in texture. (Take care they do not turn dark brown in colour.)
  3. Once they are fried on both sides, increase the flame to get the crust, this should not take more than 2-3 minutes.
  4. Now arrange and cut all the ingredients needed for seasoning.
  5. Take a non-stick pan, take a tablespoon of oil (the same oil in which you fried the baby corns), first add the green chilli, then garlic and ginger. Saute and cook till the flavors release, lastly add in the onion and saute.
  6. Add the fried baby corns, then add the cornflour mixture and give it a stir. Quickly add the sauces one by one and stir fry till the mixture is cooked.
  7. Your baby corn chilly is ready to be served with rice/ fried rice.
