Home / Recipes / Onion and Tomato Chutney
One of the simplest chutneys that can be made from pantry staples
1. Heat oil in a pan. Saute the onion, red chilli and garlic together. Add tomatoes to it and cook until very soft about 10 minutes.
2. Cool the mixture. Once cool, put it all in a blender with salt and sugar and blend until smooth.
3. Make the tempering by hearing a bit of oil in a pan and adding the mustard seeds to it. Let it splutter and then add the curry leaves to it.
4. Adjust for seasoning and add the tempering on the chutney. Mix well and serve with snack of your choice.
I load my dishes with more excitement than you will find in other new recipes that are getting far more attentions.
