ABOUT Royal Kashmiri pulav RECIPE

A rich pulav with the perfect blend of spices and flavour of ghee with dry fruits

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 cup boiled rice
  2. 2tbsp cashewnuts
  3. 2tbsp almonds
  4. 2tbsp raisins
  5. 2tbsp glazed cherry
  6. 1tbsp sugar
  7. 1big onions thinly sliced
  8. 1 onion chopped
  9. Salt
  10. Kashmiri red chilli to taste
  11. 4tbsp desi ghee
  12. Juice of 2 lemon
  13. Paneer 50 gm
  14. 1tbsp cornflour

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a karahi. Fry sliced onions to make brown onions.
  2. Now crumble paneer .add cornflour and make small balls. Fry in hot oil.
  3. Deep fry all dry fruits and keep aside.
  4. Now add chopped onions to the ghee .cook till golden brown. Add salt, Kashmiri red chilli powder, dry fruits, sugar, lemon juice, cherries and mix well all.
  5. Now add rice to the mixture and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  6. Garnish with paneer beads and serve hot.
