Perfect side dish for sambar ,rasam or curd with rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 medium sized raw banana.
  2. Mustard 1/4 tesp.
  3. Urad dal 1/2 tesp.
  4. 1 tbsp chilli powder.
  5. 4 tbsp tamrind juice.
  6. 1/2 tesp turmeric powder.
  7. Salt to taste.
  8. 3 tbsp oil.

Instructions

  1. Make a paste of tamarind juice, turmeric, salt and chilli powder.
  2. Peel the skin of raw banana,and chop to cubes.
  3. Add it to the paste and mix well.
  4. Place Kadai with oil on medium flame.
  5. Add mustard and urad dal,once it splutters add the raw banana with masala.
  6. Stir well,cover and cook on low flame.
  7. After 5 minutes open and fry stirring occasionally till it's golden brown.
  8. Serve as side dish for curd or sambar rice.
