Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton pieces - 500 gms
  2. Sliced onion - 1
  3. Onion paste - 2 onion
  4. Curd - 2 tbsp
  5. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
  6. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  7. Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  10. Cloves - 2 - 3
  11. Cardamom - 2
  12. Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
  13. Black pepper - 3 - 4
  14. Salt - to taste
  15. Clarified butter - 2 tbsp
  16. Mustard oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and clarified butter in a pan,add cloves,cinnamon,cardamom and black pepper to crackle.
  2. Add sliced onion and saute till light brown.
  3. Now add ginger garlic paste and onion paste and cook for five mins.
  4. Add mutton pieces and salt and cook on a high flame for five mins
  5. Add coriander powder,red chilly powder ,turmeric powder and curd and mix well.
  6. Cook in a slow flame for 10 mins.
  7. Now add two cup of water and garam masala powder and cook for ten mins or mutton becomes tender
  8. Serve hot with rice or chapatis
