Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup chopped Methi leaves
  2. 1/2 cup boiled peas
  3. 1/2 cup cream
  4. 2 tbsp oil/ghee
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  7. 1/2 cup water
  8. 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  9. For Ground paste
  10. 1 inch ginger chopped
  11. 1-2 green chillies - adjust
  12. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  13. 1 medium onion chopped
  14. 1/4 cup cashews
  15. 4-5 garlic cloves chopped

Instructions

  1. Grind all the ingredients mentioned under paste section with little water to smooth paste
  2. Heat ghee in a kadai. Add ground paste and saute for 6-7 minutes over low heat, keep stirring to prevent it from sticking to pan
  3. Add methi leaves and saute for 2 minutes
  4. Add 1/2 cup water and mix well. Simmer and cook for 3 minutes
  5. Add peas and cream. Mix well
  6. Simmer and cook over low heat for 5-6 minutes
  7. Add salt and sugar. Mix well
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and few boiled peas.Serve hot with roti or naan
