ABOUT FENUGREEK ALOE VERA PICKLE RECIPE

Aloevera is a miracle plant known for several health benefits. It has antiviral and antibacterial properties. Aloe Vera can be used in winter as well as summer months. Aloe Vera is used in a wide range of health products, like diet supplements, juices etc. It is also a good source of protein so it helps muscle development. Aloe Vera can be safe and healthy if it's cut and prepared properly. But if you notice any side effects talk to your doctor. Here is a simple recipe of aloe vera pickle.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Aloe Vera 10
  2. Fenugreek seeds 1/4 cup
  3. Asafoetida half teaspoon
  4. Salt two teaspoon or according to taste
  5. Red chilly powder one teaspoon
  6. Dried mango powder one teaspoon
  7. Turmeric powder one teaspoon
  8. Mustard oil half cup
  9. Vinegar one tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Wash aloevera properly. Peel throny edges carefully and cut in to small square pieces.
  2. Heat two cup water in a pan.
  3. Blanch aloevera pieces and fenugreek seeds for five minutes.
  4. Drain the water and pat it on kitchen towel to remove the water completely.
  5. Heat oil in a pan on smoking point.
  6. Reduce the heat.
  7. Add Asafoetida in it and saute for a while.
  8. Add aloevera and fenugreek seeds in it and saute for five minutes.
  9. Add salt and pepper, Turmeric powder, dry mango powder in it. Mix well and cook for two minutes.
  10. Switch off the flame. Add vinegar in it. Mix well.
  11. It's ready. Cool it on room temperature and transfer to sterilized bottle.
  12. See that the oil covers the top layer so that it does not get spoilt.
