ABOUT Tomato Onion Chutney RECIPE

It is a mouthwatering chutney usually served alongside South Indian dishes such as Dosa and Upam

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 tbsp oil
  2. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds (rai)
  3. A pinch of hing (astafoida)
  4. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  5. Salt according to taste
  6. 1 tsp sugar
  7. 1 Onion
  8. 3 tomatoes
  9. 1 tsp garlic

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and add mustard seeds ,hing,garlic and add one chopped onion.
  2. Cook it until a golden colour appears.
  3. Then add three chopped tomatoes and salt,chilli powder and sugar.
  4. Stir them until the tomatoes are cooked well.
  5. Let it cool and then grind it in a mixer.And now the tasty chutney is ready.
