Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gms paneer
  2. 3/4 tsp pepper powder
  3. 1 tsp Red chilly powder or paprika powder
  4. 1 tsp Garlic paste
  5. 1 tsp Ginger paste
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  8. 3 tbsp all purpose flour / maida
  9. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Cut paneer into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Add ginger and garlic paste, salt, pepper powder, red chilli, paprika powder and corn flour to the cubed paneer. Mix well and let it rest for five minutes.
  3. Add all purpose flour to the marinated paneer and gently toss to ensure even coating. The paneer cubes will appear dry.
  4. In the meantime take a skillet and heat 5-6 tbsp oil on a medium flame.
  5. Add paneer cubes and shallow fry them to a golden color by turning them constantly. Drain on a kitchen paper.
  6. Serve hot with any chutney of your choice. I prefer schezwan chutney.
