Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 3 cups Whole Milk Cream or Malai
  2. 1/2 to 1 cup Water
  3. Ice as required
  4. Salt to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. In the blender add the cream and ice together and blend it.
  2. At first the cream will appear smooth, then it will transition to whipped cream. Add some water and finally about 5 minutes later the milk will start to separate.
  3. You will see lumps of butter floating.
  4. Strain the buttermilk through the strainer. Press down the butter with a strainer.
  5. Remove the butter onto a bowl. Refrigerate for use.
