Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2cup sugar
  2. 1 tsp rose water
  3. 2 tsp ground cardamom
  4. 200g milk powder
  5. 1/4 tsp baking powder
  6. 50grm flour
  7. 3tsp ghee
  8. 1/4 cup milk


  1. To make sugar syrup,place the castor sugar,500ml water and rose water in saucepan over low heat and stir until the sugar dissolve .Increase the heat of high,add the cardamom,then bring the boil and cook for 5 minutes ,remove saucepan from heat and set aside
  2. Combine the milk powder, baking powder and plain flour in a bowl .Add ghee and mix well add the milk and knead to a from pastry like south,using your hands divide the dough into 25 pieces and roll inyo small balls
  3. Fill a sauce pan with oil .fry the balls for 3 minutes,remove from the oil immediately place in a bowll with the sugar strip and soak for 45 minutes,
  4. Serve garnished with rose petals
