Heat oil in vessal n
add curry leaves ,
mustard seeds, Jeera
sabut, a pinch of hing.
Dry red chili , n diced
onions..
Saute them for 2 min.
Add other veggies n
saute for 5 minutes.
Now add the dry
Add little water n
saute for another 8-10
minutes..
Now add the toor dal
n mix well...
Add water if required
in case Dal is too
thick...
Let the Dal boil n add
the tamarind water
now..
Cook till the Dal boils
nicely..
Adjust salt n spices.
Switch of the gas.
Sambhar is ready.
