Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 Soya Chaap sticks
  2. For Marination
  3. 1/2 tsp Salt
  4. 1/ 3 tsp mirch powder
  5. 1/ 4 tsp haldi powder
  6. 1/2 TSP CHOPPED GARLIC
  7. 1/2 tsp Chaap masala
  8. 2 tsp oil
  9. For gravy
  10. 1 tbsp oil
  11. 2 chopped onion
  12. 200 gram tomato puree
  13. 1/3 tsp cumin seeds
  14. 1 bay leaf
  15. 1/2 cinnamon stick
  16. 2 green cardamom
  17. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  18. 1 tsp Salt
  19. 1 tsp mirch powder
  20. 1/2 tsp haldi powder
  21. 1 tsp chaap masala
  22. 1 tsp Dhaniya powder
  23. 1 tsp tandoori chicken masala
  24. 1tsp chopped dhania leaves
  25. 1 tbspn fresh cream

Instructions

  1. Soak Soya Chaap in warm water for 5 minutes and squeeze out excess water.
  2. For marination In a bowl mix curd, mustard oil, salt, mirch powder, chaap masala, haldi powder and chopped garlic
  3. Marinate the chaaps
  4. Shallow fry marinated chaap till they turn golden brown.
  5. In another for pan add oil and saute cumin, bay leaf cardamom, cinnamon and garlic paste n onion.
  6. Add tomato puree, salt, mirch powder , haldi powder, dhaniya powder, tandoori chicken masala,chaap masala, mix them n cover the pan for 10 mins with lid.
  7. Pour in some water and cream and stire the gravy continuously on low flame.
  8. Add grilled Soya Chaap sticks in to curry, cover and Simmer for 4 minutes.
  9. Punjabi Chaap is ready garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with Garma Garam Tandoori Naan or Roti.
