Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Small onion medium sized 15 nos
  2. Fish 4- 5 Slices
  3. Tomato 1
  4. Garlic (3-4)
  5. Ginger small piece
  6. Chilli powder (1- 2 table spoon)
  7. Coriander powder (2-3 tablespoon)
  8. Turmeric powder (1teaspoon)
  9. Coriander powder
  10. Tamarind or kudampuli. ( one lemon sized )
  11. Fried Coconut milk one cup
  12. Curry leaves
  13. Coconut oil (2 tablespoons)
  14. FOR DRY ROAST POWDER
  15. fenugreek 1 teaspoon
  16. Fennel 1 teaspoon
  17. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  18. Dry chilli 4- 5
  19. Pepper 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the ingredients and grind it nicely .
  2. Heat oil and add mustard let it splitter then add fenugreek and asafoetida.
  3. Saute chopped onions and tomato .
  4. Add the ginger garlic paste and salt and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix tamarind water with chilli powder, coriander powder,and turmeric powder. Pour this tamarind mixture and the dry roast powder .Boil it for 10 -15 minutes.
  6. Add the cleaned and washed fish slices. Then add coconut milk .and garnish with curry leaves.
