Today i try puffs into kadahi , abd become so crispy , and tasty . Lets try these

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Maida 1 cup(100 gram)
  2. Sugar powder 1 tspn
  3. Salt 2 pinch
  4. Lemon juice 1 tspn
  5. Butter 50 gram (room temperature)
  6. Water 50 gram (room temperature)
  7. Butter 50 gram (folding sheet /spreading)
  8. For jam glaze :-
  9. Fruits jam 2 tspn
  10. Water 1/2 tspn
  11. chopped cherry to garnish
  12. Almonds crushed to garnish

Instructions

  1. Method for sheet :-
  2. In a bowl strain Maida, sugar , salt and mix butter .
  3. Mix lemon juice into water .
  4. Knead a soft dough with lemon mixed water. Keep aside for 15 minutes covered with a damp towel .
  5. Sprinkle flour on counter and knead again for 1 minute .
  6. Cover into butter paper and give rectangular shape. Refrigerate for 1 hour .
  7. Roll with rolling pin on the counter in rectangular shape and spread 1/3 butter on 1/3 part .
  8. Sprinkle flour then fold as shown into photos . Then again cover into butter paper nd refrigerate for 30 minutes .
  9. Again roll in rectangular shape and spread next 1/3 part of butter on full sheet . And fold like shown into photos . And again refrigerate for 30 minutes .
  10. Repeate previous step again .
  11. Now our sheet is ready cut into 2 equal parts .
  12. 11. Roll on counter in rectangular shape and cut with cookies cutter as ur choice .
  13. Baking method :--
  14. Put 1 cup salt into kadahi/cooker and set a stand on salt . Preheat for 5 minutes on full flame .
  15. Meanwhile cover a plate with foil paper and grease with oil and set all puffs sheets on the plate . And grease with butter .
  16. Then put this plate into preheated kadahi/cooker and cover with lid . Bake on low to medium flame for at least one hour .
  17. Puffs will ready with layers
  18. Method for jam glaze :-
  19. Combine jam and water into a bowl and microwave for 10 seconds then stirr until the jam and water are well combines .
  20. Let it cool down before applying on puffs .
  21. Brush baked puffs with glazed jam then sprinkle cherry and almonds . Ready to eat our glazed puffs .
