This is a healthy and nutritious upma is my innovation.i add coconut in pearl millet and it becomes tasty as well as healthy.serve with grilled watermelon and paneer

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup pearl millet
  2. 1/2 cup desicated coconut powder
  3. 1 tsp oil
  4. 1 tsp jeera
  5. Pinch of hing
  6. 2 tbsp chop onion
  7. 2 tbsp chop carrot
  8. 1 tbsp boiled peas
  9. 1 tbsp boiled corn
  10. 1 green chilli
  11. 1 tsp Ginger paste
  12. 1 lemon Juice
  13. 1 tsp lemon zest
  14. salt as per taste
  15. 1/2 tsp haldi
  16. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  17. 1 tsp garam masala
  18. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  19. Coriander leaves
  20. 3 watermelon slices
  21. 1/2 tsp Salt for sprinkle
  22. 1/2 tsp Pepper
  23. 1 tsp honey
  24. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  25. 6 paneer slices
  26. 1 tbsp mustard seasoning
  27. 1 tbsp mayo
  28. 1/2 tsp Salt
  29. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  30. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  31. Butter for shallow fry paneer and watermelon
  32. White seasme seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat water and add pearl millet
  2. Add salt and cook
  3. Heat oil in pan add hing and jeera
  4. Add ginger paste and green chilli
  5. Add onion and saute all of them
  6. Then add carrot,peas and corn
  7. Then add spices and lemon juice
  8. Add lemon zest
  9. And coconut ppowder
  10. Mix all of them finely
  11. Add coriander leaves
  12. Take watermelon slices and grill it adding butter
  13. Sprinkle salt and pepper
  14. Fizzle honey and add some lemon juice
  15. Now for paneer prepare marination
  16. Take mustard sauce and mayo
  17. Add salt and pepper and mix
  18. Apply it on paneer and let it marinate for 20 min.
  19. Then add butter in grill pan and grill pineapple
  20. Now for serving add upma in mould
  21. De mould it top with watermelon
  22. And serve with grilled paneer and mustard dressing
