ABOUT Eggless Chocolate Cake RECIPE

Slightly dense because it has no eggs, this chocolate is our go-to recipe when we crave a delicious slice of cake.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour - 1 cup
  2. Baking Powder - ½ tsp
  3. Baking Soda - 1 tsp
  4. Cocoa powder - 6 tsp
  5. Granulated Sugar - ¾ cup
  6. Vegetable oil - ½ cup
  7. ¼ cup hot water
  8. 1 tsp instant coffee powder
  9. Milk - ¼ cup
  10. Yogurt - ¼ cup
  11. Vanilla extract- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C, 10 minutes before baking. Lightly grease the cake tin and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl sift together the all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder and sugar. Make a well.
  3. In another bowl mix together all the wet ingredients and stir well.
  4. Pour all the wet ingredients into the dry and mix well until combined. Do NOT overmix.
  5. Pour into the prepared pan and even out with a spatula. Bake for 30 minutes or until done.
  6. Cool and ice cake as required.
