ABOUT Soya tomato cups RECIPE

Soya is a good source of Dietary Fiber, Protein, Vitamin C, Calcium etc. Very beneficial for ladies. This recipe can be used as a healthy party snack also. Without using the tomato filling you can have it also as a healthy meal just like poha.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Soya granules 1/2cup
  2. Green peas 2tbsp
  3. Onion 1 chopped
  4. Green chilli 2 chopped
  5. Lemon juice 1tsp
  6. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  8. Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  9. Garam masala powder 1tsp
  10. Oil 1tsp
  11. Curry leaves few
  12. Coriander leaves chopped 2tbsp
  13. Tomato 4nos
  14. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Blanch tomatoes, remove skin, keep aside.
  2. Boil water in a sauce pan. Add soya granules and switch off. Let it like that for 10mins.
  3. Strain and run cold water over it. Squeeze water completely.
  4. Heat 1tsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, chopped onion, green chilli, curry leaves.
  5. Add boiled peas, all spices. Mix well. Then add soya granules, salt, lemon juice.
  6. Mix carefully. Don't overcook. Switch off. You can have it in breakfast like poha.
  7. Cut the tomatoes in two equal parts and remove the pulps and stuff with the prepared stuffing.
  8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve. You can prepare this for party snack also.

Good one. You can add raw tomato pulp( scooped one) too in your soya mixture.
